Can't use pathio behind corporate firewall / proxy

When I fire up Pathio it hangs at the “checking your license” screen. Then I get a “failed to connect” message from the licensing tool. This machine is connected to the internet via a corporate network through a firewall and proxy. Seems like Pathio isn’t picking up the system’s proxy settings.
