Error in Slicing Vase Mode

  • Printer Name: Self Build
  • **Pathio Version:**5.2 Beta
  • **Filament Type:**doesn’t matter

Important Slicing Settings: Vase mode

When slicing an cuboid let’s say 20mm x 300mm x 50mm in Vase mode, the pitch of each track is the same. No matter whether the track is 20mm or 300mm
I think the pitch should different between the long track and the short track.
I add a Piece of G-Code to explain it.

Hey rebsam,

Could you send along an image of what you mean?

Thanks,

Daniel

1 ; PATHIO: Starting new track

10 ; PATHIO: Track complete

11 ; PATHIO: New layer

12 ; layer 18, Z = 1.800000

We are starting at X 215.0 and Y 112.5

Line 6 moving 200mm in direction of X increasing hight by 0.02mm is an pitch of 0.0001%

Line 7 moving 5mm in direction of Y increasing hight by 0.02mm is an pitch of 0.004%

In my opinion the gradient angle shoud be the same on the whole track.

Huh,

I’m not sure if this is intended or not, @Gabe probably has more information on this.

I’m sorry I couldn’t help, hopefully Gabe can follow up with you.
