Take the already developed “paint” tool for custom supports, and allow the user to “paint” sections of a model to identify sections. within each section, utilize “grouping” function to change print settings
This is very useful to take a model and change infill only in certain parts, number of walls, top/bottom layers, line thickness, support types…
Do other slicers do this?: Cura allows you to do this by importing a “block” to overlap the existing model. where that model overlaps with your block, you can change settings.
