Seam with large layers is a large gap

  • Printer Name:Taz 6 with .8 or 1.2mm nozzle
  • Pathio Version: 5.0
  • Filament Type:PLA, PETG

Important Slicing Settings:

Retract is minimal. Tried all the way down to .5mm

Biggest issue is when the perimeter move starts there is no material contacting previous layer. So the machine moves XX distance will the material extrudes into the air to fill the gap.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.

We have previously encountered this issue and are in the process of further investigation.
In the meantime we would advise trying to increase your extra unretract setting.
We would not not advise this be increased over increase this over 1.0mm.
